Auditing

What is auditing?

An audit is an examination and verification of a company’s financial and accounting records and supporting documents by a professional, such as a Certified Public Accountant.

Who needs auditing in Ghana?

According to the Companies Act, 2019, (Act 992), all registered companies regardless of size or public interest level, must be audited by auditors registered with ICAG (Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana) and must file audited financial statements with the Registrar of Companies.
