The 2016 Ye! Boost Program is a hybrid online & offline program targeting early-stage young entrepreneurs from Kenya, India and the Philippines.  The program provides training, networking and coaching opportunities for entrepreneurs between 16 to 30 years old. The program is initiated by Ye! Community and is supported by local partners - TiE (for India), iHub (for Kenya) and YES (for Philippines). 

The program is comprised of the following activities:

Local Workshops (For entrepreneurs)

We organize workshops on the topic of “Access to Finance” and “Technology Entrepreneurship”, focusing on hands-on fundraising skills and the essential skills of running a tech startup. The workshops are organized by the local Ye! chapter (led by the Ye! Ambassadors for the Philippines) and university partners in the Philippines.

Capacity Building (For entrepreneurship trainers)

In collaboration with the Santa Clara University, we will organize an online training for trainers on implementing the GSBI Boost Curriculum – a (social) enterprise acceleration training program that focuses on helping entrepreneurs create an articulated financial plan. In total, a series of 5 training sessions will be organized between May 23 and Jun 8. In addition, an informal working group comprised of trainers and managers from the partner organizations and other entrepreneurship organizations that will participate in the program to share best practices on entrepreneurship support.

Competition & Pitch Event

We’ll organize an online video competition to select promising young entrepreneurs in India. The finalists of the competition will be invited to attend a final pitch event. The winners will be nominated for the Ye! Global Awards and be invited to attend the Ye! International Entrepreneurship Training with a top consulting firm in Sweden in November!

Ye! International Entrepreneurship Training, Global Inclusion Awards 2016

We will run organize a two-day entrepreneurship skills training for the winners of Ye! Country Pitch Events and the finalists of Ye! Global Awards. The training is provided by a top management consulting firm in collaboration with the Ye! Community. Furthermore, you will get the chance to participate in the Global Inclusion Awards, where you can meet with policy makers, potential investors and other valuable partners of CYFI from the financial sector.
