Empleo is born because freelancing, much less than jobs, is a matter of privilege. Privilege of a computer, internet connection, technical literacy and other competencies. With the volume of Filipinos online on different social-media networks, it shows we are built for the next generation of employment. They say countries like Saudi Arabia and Italy are big, but I say the internet is bigger. Imagine complete families. And with it comes a better digital ecosystem and a culture of creating the "enabled" and the "enablers". We have an abundance of mobile apps, modules, web apps and all those increasingly complicated technologies. We don't want to be lazy - we will train our users and curate their experience to ensure the value we envisioned. It's tech and a participative polytech. Currently, there is a wealth of knowledge from the government and from the internet, but not much guidance how to use them.
